Voting is just one (very important) aspect of our democracy. If you haven't hit your 18th birthday yet, and can't vote, it doesn't mean you can't get involved. There are loads of other ways to get your voice heard.
You could:
- Submit a petition
- Write a letter to your local representatives
- Provide evidence to a State government committee or a Federal government committee
- Get your representative to ask a question on your behalf
- Get involved in a youth council or youth parliament
- Start or join a local group
