Meet the Roving Reporters
Roving Reporter Profile : Grace H,
Grace is from Gippsland and has just completed high school. Currently she is taking a gap year and she is very excited about moving ahead in a new chapter in life.
Grace aspires to become a journalist one day, focusing on writing game, film and popular culture reviews. In the near future she hopes to study popular culture subjects at university.
Grace joined youthcentral's roving reporter team because she believes this is a chance for her to do something she likes and she hopes to gain practical experience in journalism. When asked how she felt when accepted as a roving reporter, Grace said she was "stoked" and very excited, and thought this would be an "awesome" opportunity.
In her spare time Grace enjoys playing a variety of different console games and reading fantasy novels such as Howl’s Moving Castle and the Harry Potter series. Grace does not limit her interests, though - she also enjoys reading other genres and books such as The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ and The Phantom of the Opera.
Meanwhile, aside from her involvement in the roving reporter team, Grace is doing a TAFE course in commercial cookery.
