Work Experience - Wodonga Story
Read a transcript of this video.
This documentary is about work experience in Wodonga and the opportunities it presents for students and how it can lead to careers.
Joan Toner, the work experience co-ordinator at Wodonga Senior Secondary College, offers placements for students in the careers they are interested in.
She was interviewed to see what goes into finding places for students to go.
Four students were also interviewed at their workplace of choice to find out what they did and how they were finding the work experience "experience".
Work experience was chosen as a topic because it explains the opportunities for students in Wodonga.
Thanks to Damien Morrison, Liam Sandford, Hannah Eyre and Nat Sariman for being part of the interviews, Phil Bunn, owner of Sports First for the interview, and all of the employers for giving the makers of the video some insight into their industry.
Videos and blurbs by Matt Townsend, Sam "Spooni" Telfer and Nicole Slater.
This documentary was produced as part of the Wodonga Story partnership between youthcentral and Wodonga Youth Services.
