Tell us your story - Registering parties

Jack in the studioHi, my name is Jack and I have just completed Year 12 at Belmont High School.

My hobbies include music and reading, but music is my favourite, because I play it (mostly pub rock stuff e.g. Cold Chisel, Dragon, Deep Purple, '70s Glam Rock).

I've also found a new hobby which I really enjoy: preparing and performing on radio. I became interested in The Pulse when I was offered an opportunity to perform a one-hour radio show for the Schools Hour and I've done four shows already.

The radio shows that I've done have mainly consisted of older music ('60s, '70s and some early '80s stuff) and discussions with my peers about VCE, VCAL, VET, work experience, music, news issues and so on and so forth!

The last show that I did was with a friend of mine from Belmont High School, Anthony Biemans (Biemo). We interviewed a police officer, Adrian Goodwin, about registering parties and here it is!
