Boys, parties and friendships are the biggest worries for most young girls, but Ann-Maree has bigger things to worry about as well. She swims, cooks, studies hospitality, sings, dances, travels and suffers from immune deficiency and adrenal crisis.
Because of these illnesses, Ann-Maree cannot leave the country or get immunisations. It also means she has to have a blood test every week, go into hospital every three weeks, and have an MRI or CAT scan every six months.
How would you cope with all of this? Ann-Maree certainly doesn't let it get her down. This is her story.
