Horsing Around - By Kayci

Title:

Horsing Around

Story By:

Kayci

Description:

Kayci might be visually impaired but that doesn't stop her from riding horses and having the time of her life. When she was younger Kayci had a Shetland pony named Dixie that she used to ride. She got too big for it and now rides full grown horses.

Because she can't see, Kayci had trouble getting her balance at first but now she has learnt to make horses jump, dance and play. Kayci has been able to achieve all this through the help of the Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia, a horse-riding school based in Werribee.
