Meet the Roving Reporters

When Yolanda dreams, she dreams big.

With the intention of living in New York City to complete an internship with the New York Times, it seems nothing in the world can stand in her way. Except maybe cockroaches, rodents or moths. They terrify her.

Thankfully Yolanda is pursuing a career in journalism rather than zoology. A fresh-faced first-year journalism student at RMIT, she is getting involved with youthcentral to help get her writing published. She believes it is an excellent opportunity to get her foot in the door of the world of journalism.

Since a young age Yolanda has always been interested in writing about issues that affect young people. It was around this age that Yolanda earned her purple belt in karate. That's two belts off black.

It seem the world should prepare itself for Yolanda. With the world at her feet, she is just getting started.
