Roving Reporter Profile : Marnie,


Marnie is 19 years old, a first year journalist student at RMIT who works part-time at a call centre.

Her biggest inspiration careerwise would be Laurie Oakes - someone who is on top of their game. Her dream job would be to be a foreign correspondent working at a major metropolitan newspaper.

Lady Gaga has the top spot as the most played artist on Marnie's mp3 player, and she has a soft spot for the movie The Pursuit of Happiness.

The celebrity she would faint over if she saw them would be Tegan and Sara, YouTube indie musicians with great personalities. Marnie has been a big fan of them for a long time.

If she was an animal, based on her personality, Marnie thinks she would be a dog. She can be very loud but also chilled at times.

Marnie's chosen superpower would be invisibility. Her superhero name would be Invisigirl. Her perfect weekend would entail a massage, an amazing Saturday night concert, a meal at a family restaurant, and finish with quality time with friends and family.
