Roving Reporter Profile : Rachel,
Boy, are we one heck of a fascinating species and Rachel is an outstanding specimen. After finishing year twelve at Bendigo Senior Secondary College in 2009, Rach plans to pursue a career as a social worker or psychologist to begin her next phase of life.
While navigating through issues in life and working part-time, this busy roving reporter likes to maintain a good balance by chilling out with friends and family. In the rare event of having spare time she'll take the opportunity to sit back, relax, and watch a film with friends.
Curled up in her bed at home is Rach's favourite place to be because "it feels like the safest place in the world". Don't underestimate her though - this isn't because she can remain inactive. She's certainly not one to back away from a challenge!
When asked what can make a person fun, Rach's response was "a willingness to try new things". She admires people who share her desire to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.
On the rare occurrence Rach can wean herself off talking about Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga she likes to do some creative writing of her own. Writing short stories, poetry or entries in her (not-so-secret) journal gives you an idea about her passion for literature.
Rachel's tendency to be too overanalytical gets annoying at times, but it'll help her produce some thought-provoking and articulate articles. Keep an eye out for her future musings!
