Meet the roving reporters

Roving Reporter Profile : Anna Q,

Roving Reporter, Anna QAnna grew up in the chilly coastal town of Warrnambool but is now studying year 11 and boarding at Melbourne Girls Grammar.

Anna's favourite thing about growing up in Warrnambool was being situated right next to the beach. Since the age of 10 she has been competing in Surf Lifesaving competitions. She started in the nippers and worked her way through to higher levels of competition as the years went on. She is now looking forward to getting back into the habit of running, not for competition, but for pure enjoyment.

Anna is also enjoying attending Melbourne Girls Grammar and is eager to do well with her studies despite the amount of homework she and her classmates are copping. Anna says that being one of the 95 boarders at the school is fun. "It's kind of like a big slumber party. Ninety-five is a good number - it's not enough to be lonely, but not too many to get lost in."

In 10 years' time Anna hopes to have lived in Paris for a year and to have improved her French but she really just hopes to be happy.
