Meet the Roving Reporters

Jessica is a bright, young, friendly girl with plenty of personality and energy.

Jessica has a passion for dancing and is actively involved in her local dance company, Attitude. Having just graduated from secondary school in Geelong, where she was fortunate enough to become school captain, Jess is hoping to gain some life experience and travel throughout Europe during her gap year before jetting off to Monash University to study journalism.

Throughout high school Jessica was interested in literature and English, but she has developed a love of theatre and musicals. Jessica's passion for journalism is driven by her belief that "everyone has a story to tell". Through youthcentral she hopes to learn more about the process of creating and producing articles, and also to meet new people.

Jess feels strongly about the importance of body image for young people in our society and plans to address this issue in her articles for youthcentral.

Jessica is intrigued by the city life and aspires to one day move to Melbourne to pursue her life goals. She looks to her older sister for support and sees her as a role model because of her independence and attitude towards life.

With her positive disposition and friendly attitude, Jessica is bound to go places in life and find a way to accomplish her dreams.
