Meet the Roving Reporters

Roving Reporter Profile : Stacie,

Stacie grew up in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne with the dream of one day becoming a veterinarian and having her own television show like Dr Harry. Now that she has grown up, she aspires to become a journalist, hopefully living and working in the US.

Stacie spent last summer travelling throughout the United States and Canada. She hopes to visit New Zealand this year to try out some of the extreme sports on offer there. She is taking the opportunity to be one of youthcentral's roving reporters to hone her journalism skills. She wishes to cover a broad range of off-centre topics, exposing people to obscure events and issues.

Stacie enjoys spending her free time indulging in her love of old horror movies, independent professional wrestling, seeing live music and, of course, writing. She has a burgeoning collection of close to 2000 CDs and DVDs.

Tattoo magazines are also a source of inspiration for Stacie - she finds great beauty in the art of decorating one’s body with art. After graduating from university, Stacie would love to travel the world, getting inked by the greats of the tattoo industry, and to share both experiences with others through her writing.
