Meet the new roving reporters!

Meet the new youthcentral roving reporters!Every six months or so we throw open the doors at youthcentral to let in a bunch of talented young aspiring professional writers.

We get heaps and heaps of people applying for the chance to strut their word-stuff on the pages of youthcentral, and after the dust has settled a new team of roving reporters stands tall for all the world to see.

We put them through their paces, dragging them from all over Victoria to come together at the youthcentral offices for two hard days of roving reporter boot camp, and anyone who survives the rigorous training in writing for the web, interviewing techniques, photography and grammar gets to hold their head high as a genuine 100% roving reporter.

We send them out into the world, their hometowns, their communities and they come back with stories, opinions, interviews and articles that tell you how it is and where it is and who it is and such.

So please join us in welcoming this latest crop of those who rove and report to these online pages, and stay tuned to be amazed by what they have to offer.

For more about what makes them tick and tock, check out their profiles in our Roving reporters section.

If you think you've got what it takes, and you'd like to join the team so you can share your writing genius and passion for current issues on the interwebs via youthcentral, check out our Join our team page.
