Analyses, designs, develops, configures and maintains computer hardware, servers and peripheral equipment. A Systems Engineer is also responsible for the integration of software applications and operating environments and ensuring that an organisation's system architecture meets and supports its business requirements. The role involves the planning and co-ordination of system feasibility studies, as well as the analysis and recommendation of strategic direction for an organisation's systems architecture across a variety of operating platforms and environments.
