Nineteen-year old Chris Sutton had been filming himself and his friends doing flips for more than a year using his phone. So when the Wot's Goin On 4 Uth phone video workshops turned up in Bairnsdale in March/April 2008 he was ready to go.

The result was his video, Fearless, featuring four-and-a-half minutes of flips. Standing flips, flipping off the side of houses, flipping over fences, flipping off jetties, flipping over each other... If it's a kind of flip, it's featured in Fearless.

"Basically anywhere we go, we'd get footage of flips," says Chris. "Originally it just started off as muckin' around. I had only a couple of videos, and then I decided to put 'em together and then people just jumped in on it."

The Wot's Goin On 4 Uth workshops were run by Gippsland East LLEN (new window) as part of National Youth Week 2008, in partnership with youthcentral, East Gippsland Shire Council and CRAYV.

If you want to get in touch with GELLEN about future workshops, you can call them on 5153 1745.
