Have your say on training & TAFE
The Victorian Government has launched two new initiatives to let TAFE and training students provide feedback about their study experiences.
Take part in the annual Student Satisfaction Survey
The Victorian Government wants to know how your course or apprenticeship has helped you to achieve your employment goals. You can let them know by taking part in the annual Student Satisfaction Survey.
If you finished or left a course provided by a registered training organisation in 2016, you're encouraged to complete this survey.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. It asks for your views on a range of topics including:
- the quality of your teachers and trainers
- how relevant the skills you learned are
- how training has helped you to get a job.
The results of this survey will be confidentially reported back to training and TAFE organisations so they can improve their courses.

The survey is open until 26 May 2017.
Have Your Say - A regular poll about your training experiences
The Have Your Say poll is a regular series of texts sent to students currently enrolled in TAFE or training. It will be used to check on how well training is being delivered and what improvements could be made.
The first Have Your Say poll was sent out in late April, with another poll planned for late June.
The future of training in Victoria
Giving students a say in the future of training is a Victorian Government commitment through their Skills First policy.
