On April 17 2008, ten Victorian students embarked on a two-week study tour of Singapore and Greece. The study tour will visit war sites and focus on Australia's involvement in the Greek War.
This tour is part of the Spirit of ANZAC Prize, an annual prize that allows students to learn about Australian military history by:
- Visiting sites of significance to Australia's armed forces
- Meeting with Australian veterans
- Researching the lives of Australia's armed servicemen
- Writing about their experiences on the tour
youthcentral will be following the ten lucky students on their travels. We'll be publishing photos and blogs from the students while they're off on the tour, so you can find out what they're doing and what they've learned.
