School-based apprenticeships

Share

School-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SBAT) give you both off-the-job training and on-the-job experience.

When you do a SBAT you'll:

  • Complete your VCE or VCAL
  • Do a training program
  • Work in paid employment

When you finish your SBAT you'll have a nationally recognised qualification that can lead directly to a job.

If this seems like the right path for you, talk to your school career counsellor about your options.
