About The Push
The Push supports young Victorians who are involved in the music scene.
Founded in 1986, The Push engages young Victorians to connect with live music. They support young people to undertake skills training and explore creative opportunities.
For over 45 years, they have connected millions of young people to music through:
- all-ages gigs
- workshops
- studio access
- industry mentoring.
The Victorian Government funds The Push to deliver the Amplify Support Service.
The Amplify Support Service supports community organisations to deliver Amplify music and cultural events in partnership with young people. These events are drug, alcohol and smoke-free and designed for and by young Victorians.
