Victoria is home to people from over 200 countries, who speak 200 different languages, making it one of the most culturally diverse places in the world.

More than 10 per cent of the population of regional Victoria was born overseas, and the number of migrants resettling in regional and rural Victoria has increased in recent years. Young people make up a significant proportion of Victoria's migrant population.

The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds have access to services and opportunities.

The Victorian Government is working with the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) to provide a range of services for young people from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
