Victorian Youth Week (formerly National Youth Week) is a week-long celebration of young people (aged 12–25).

It gives you an opportunity to express your ideas and views, and act on issues that affect your lives. It also lets you have a lot of fun and celebrate the positive contributions young people make.

This year, events in Victoria will be organised across Victoria to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people.

Victorian Youth Week 2019 will run from Friday 5 April to Sunday 14 April 2019.

About the Victorian Youth Week Grants

Do you have an idea for Victorian Youth Week 2019?

Grants of up to $2,000 are now available to support youth-focused events, activities and programs to run during the ten-day celebration of young Victorians.

We’re looking for programs and activities that promote a positive image of young people and provide them with an opportunity to express their ideas and be heard in the community.

Proposals will be accepted from councils, community organisations and schools working in partnership with young people to develop and implement events.

Your idea must be youth-focused, delivered in a safe environment and alcohol, drug and smoke-free.

What is the application process?
